With a Jetsam Made kitchen you can tailor the look and feel of your kitchen to suit your home. Whether you want colourful pops or muted steel, our materials and finishing processes allow you to create something truly unique.

Steel Framework

Our 20mm x 20mm mild steel box section can be powder-coated in a range of colours from the RAL K7 chart.

- Monochromatic, a bright pop of colour or stainless steel. We can also colour match if you'd like a specific colour finish.

Custom Fronts

Choose from a standard birch plywood front, real wood veneer, stained wood, or a solid block colour. The colour can be chosen to match or contrast with the steel framework, using the RAL K7 chart or a specific colour from your chosen paint company.

Worktops

For worktops, if you have a solid surface that can be cut with woodworking tooling we can create your worktop in house.

Otherwise, we do not provide worktops but can suggest surfaces from reputable companies and help coordinate the project.

Handles

Choose from routed out handles with shapes such as rectangles or circles. Handleless grooves, or hardware. We work with many reputable retailers to source unique handles.

Steel Framework

Our custom steel framework can be powder-coated in any RAL colour from the K7 chart. If there's a colour in mind you'd like to match, this can be achieved, as well as a stainless steel option.

Custom Fronts

With a range of choices for fronts, this is where the look and feel of your finished kitchen really comes to life. We work primarily with Grade B/BB birch plywood, available in the following finishes:

Standard Front
15mm birch plywood, finished with Morrells water-based lacquer.

Veneer
Choose from an extensive range of real wood veneers, including oak, sapele and maple, as well as laminate in a range of block colours, such as Formica. Veneers are applied to a birch plywood core, with the end grain left visible unless lipping is specified.

Stained Wood
We can stain birch plywood or real wood veneer in a range of colours, allowing you to create a more individual finish.

Solid Block Colour
Choose a solid colour to match or contrast with your steel framework. Colours can be selected from the RAL K7 colour chart or matched to a specific colour from an external paint supplier, such as Farrow & Ball. Solid-colour fronts are made on a Medite core.

Worktops

For a truly unique finish to your Jetsam Made kitchen, we can help you source a material to complement your cabinetry.

We work with an extensive range of suppliers, offering materials including stainless steel, quartz, laminate, birch plywood and solid surfaces.

If you find a solid-surface material that can be cut using woodworking tooling, we can often work with it in-house. One material we particularly like to suggest is Durat — a recycled solid surface available in a wide range of colours and finishes.
