Hi, I'm Francesca — designer, maker and founder of Jetsam Made.

Jetsam Made began because I couldn't find the kitchen I wanted for my own home.

I wasn't looking for a conventional fitted kitchen. I wanted something that felt more like a carefully collected piece of furniture — beautifully made, built to last and designed to sit naturally alongside the things I already loved. It needed to be practical enough for everyday life, but never feel ordinary.

So I designed and built it myself.

My first kitchen combined a powder-coated steel frame in RAL 3022 with birch plywood cabinetry, a stainless steel worktop, integrated sink and handcrafted detailing. Years later, it's still the kitchen I love coming home to, and it continues to shape the philosophy behind every bespoke kitchen we create.

With a background in interiors and joinery, I founded Jetsam Made to design and build bespoke kitchens and handcrafted furniture for clients across Bristol and beyond who are looking for something truly personal. Every project begins with a conversation, because no two homes, lifestyles or clients are ever the same. That's why no two Jetsam Made kitchens are either.

I believe a bespoke kitchen should feel like it belongs to your home rather than simply filling it. Every cabinet is designed as an individual piece of furniture, balancing thoughtful craftsmanship with practical functionality. Whether we're creating a complete kitchen, a bespoke kitchen island or handcrafted freestanding furniture, every detail is considered with longevity in mind.
