Mid-Century Modern Bespoke Kitchen | Blackheath, London

mid century modern kitchen

This custom-designed mid-century modern kitchen was created for an original 1950s Span house on the iconic Blackheath estate in south-east London, within the Royal Borough of Greenwich conservation area.

Designed as a tribute to Eric Lyons' architecture, the kitchen echoes the home's original layout, where a timber-framed kitchen wall once divided the living space. We reimagined this with a freestanding kitchen unit that creates a subtle divide, blending form and function.

Finished in sage green (RAL 6021), with powder-coated steel frames and fronts, reeded glass panels, and stainless steel worktops and handles, the design is a sophisticated nod to the house’s mid-century heritage, combining timeless style with thoughtful craftsmanship.
